Il libro copre molti aspetti della programmazione nel kernel e, ovviamente, della realizzazione dei diversi tipi di device driver. Molti punti però non sono approfonditi come necessiterebbero…

Per me è un buon libro, ma da usare solo dopo aver capito bene come si scrive un driver di base (char, block e net), pertanto vi consiglio di usarlo insieme a Linux Device Drivers, Third Edition per avere una panoramica completa dell’argomento; i due libri, infatti, si complementano bene a vicenda.
